Ingredients:
For the syrup:
2 cups water
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp each of ginger and cinnamon powder
1 cup pineapple, chopped
Toasted bread
Butter, to spread
NuVita Oat Digestives
Vanilla/coconut icecream, for serving
Method: Mix water with brown sugar, ginger and cinnamon powder and let it come to a boil. Meanwhile, toast some bread and then spread butter on it. Cut into small pieces and place in a serving tray. Cut up some oat digestives and place them on the bread. Add the pineapple to the syrup and cook for 5 minutes and then top the digestives with the pineapple. Serve with a scoop of icecream and some more syrup and enjoy.
