Weber Pulse Electric BBQ Review

We delivered our first Weber Pulse 2000 BBQ to a regular customer’s son in the heart of London and we decided to give our first Weber Pulse BBQ customer the VIP treatment. Pizza and USDA Sirloin Steaks were on the menu and we showed the new proud owner of Weber’s latest Electric BBQ, how to use this fantastic piece of kit.

The Weber Pulse 2000 BBQ is powered by mains electricity and is safe to use outside. The Pulse 2000 produces 2200 watts of power has Dual Zone Heating Elements; this allows you to cook direct and indirectly!

One of the main benefits of the Heating Element technology is the precise temperature control, ensuring precise and accurate temperature reading. The integrated iGrill Technology gives you even more control allowing you to specify the type of meat you are cooking which in turn will warn you, when the meat is safe to eat or when it is has cooked your meat to your desired doneness. It takes away the guess work!

The Grease Management System of this BBQ, allows you to clean this BBQ really easily. Weber have considered everything and are particularly targeting the Urban BBQ user – this BBQ is quick to set up and quick to clean – the added bonus is that you can clean the Grease Management Tray, Cooking Grates and Heating Element. These parts are removable from the BBQ.

The Porcelain Enameled Cast Iron Cooking Grates are top end and get extremely hot and importantly hold their heat really well – this means incredible sear lines on your steaks!

The Weber Pulse BBQ is potentially the latest staple to every Weber BBQ enthusiast – we know that we will all be getting one!

  1. ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND EXPENSIVE GRILLER….CATCHES FIRE WITH LID CLOSED ALSO AND WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR 2 HOT RODS…BULKY N TAKES A LONG TIME….TEFAL OPTIGRILL IS WAY BETTER THAN THIS….IF U NOTICE ALL NEGATIVE COMMENTS R REMOVED FROM THIS PRODUCT BY WEBER ON MOST VIDEOS….CLEANING THIS IS ALSO A HASSLE.

  2. You've stated that the grease tray, heating elements and cast iron grates can be washed in the dishwasher – I have confirmation from Weber that this is not true. Only parts that can be washed in the dishwasher are the bowl and lid liners.

  3. Anyone else had issues with the short distance between heating elements and reflector causing drips to catch fire in the Weber Pulse 2000?
It has so far happened twice to me and happened even if I cleaned off the reflector after every session. 5 uses so far, 2 fires. One ruined a meal completely.
I used to have the Q1400 and this never happened.
