*Since filming this segment all of the handheld vacuum sealers we tested have been discontinued. We just reviewed countertop models though, and found some excellent options.

Do NOT buy this product. They do not stand behind the product and it fails almost immediately. The bag glue fails, the plastic tops fail and the pump will suck up liquids and fail. Buy something else!
Thank you! Please test more hand pump versions vs electric such as Pump-N-Seal and Mini Vacuum Pump Manual Vacuum Sealer Pump for Sous Vide Bags Portable Hand Pump Home Organizing Supply Storage Pump Use in Clothes and Food by StaiBC store. Please add a test to prick a mason jar lid with a pushpin, cover with Tab-Chek valves on both quart jars and pint jars. Please also continue test 1x/week for a year, to see failure rates of storage system and of hand pump itself. Thanks!

Which bags were the avoidable polyester??
You should include the handheld accessory sealer that is included with some models of the Food Saver brand. We find that if you can dedicate the space on your counter, the sealer is used on a daily basis. First to reseal every plastic bag of chips or cereal etc. Second to reseal these zip type bags.
BS test!
An obvious steer towards the machine they where pushing!
The fact they didn’t even discuss the FoodSaver machine was an obvious give away!
Check out the Pump-N-Seal Food Vacuum Sealing Pump, it's built in the USA, VERY durable and reliable, is manually operated. Along with bags, it seals mason jars, recycled jars such as reused pickle and peanut butter jars, pots, pans, bowls, and a variety of other containers. and their site and Amazon listing claims they offer a 10 year manufacturer warranty, pulls an extremely strong vacuum in a couple of pumps, their website is https://pump-n-seal.com/ and their Amazon listing is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083RH28BP?ref=myi_title_dp, Amazon currently has a $2 coupon so it makes the price $32.95. Thing is great!
The new FreshSaver handheld looks great as an option — the Gourmia is no longer available. Please do a review of the FreshSaver portable. Thanks…
Jaysus! That wnner isi very loud.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! All products shown are unavailable.
coffee release CO2 which is why coffee bags have a air release valve for a one way flow of air. coffee is a bad test for vacuum sealers
I would be interested to see a study on TCO (total cost of ownership) on the bags and gear.
Please you are making it seem that it's difficult for something so effortless to use.
So it’s the composition of the bags that made them fail, but ATK used that as the main factor in choosing the device?
Swilling has one that looks good. Can’t fine any reviews on it.
Just to let everyone know that food saver came out with an updated machine… Walmart & Amazon has it for around $25! 😃 I love mine!
I swear she tells sex jokes all the time 😂
So this is an old review getting republished about stuff nobody can actually buy anymore? Why?
Why are you reposting something where none of the items are available? Thumbs down!
Come on ATK!!!!!!! Look at your own link. It is incorrect! I can't believe no one from ATK reads any of these comments. This wasn't even available when the original full video was out previously.
Wait, so all of the ones you tested have been discontinued? Then why the hell did you post this video? It was posted like 3 days ago. What the hell is going on?
What about bag cost over time?
