I love Beets. Pickled 🥒 is my favorite way to eat them but I also like them steamed.
Sincerely yours Mr Severance,
"The Cake 🎉🎂🎈🥂🍰 Man".
You're just exceptional, Dan. Great humor, expertise, personality, communicator and sooo humble.
Keep the videos coming, I learn so much!
TJs has chopped onion, celery, and carrot in a container. I'm guessing this should be avoided at all costs since you don't know when the onions where chopped.
VY-del-ya. It's a southern thang lol!! ❤️
Yeoo, could you do a video on Mangos?? 😊
I'm not even near my kitchen and I'm crying as the onions cook.
We call Vidalia onions,
Purple!😁lol!
Mh. Disappointed you didn't answer how the horizontal cuts help when dicing. Could have even drawn a diagram.
One of my first jobs was as food prep at a Big Boy. They'd get these huge onions and we'd pull them out of the bag let soak in a bath of ice water (about 10 minutes) before any preparation. Used for bread coated onion rings. Really cut down on the crying.
If one wonders if they should quarter onions or leave them whole perhaps they should just try both to see which they prefer.
Can you use onion powder in same way as garlic powder? I was a bit disappointed it wasn't covered in main video… 🥺
Marmite incoming.
I think the guy that grates onions, while not crying, is using a food processor.
Hey Dan, what’s the deal with Pretzels?
I have found that salting onions early in the caramelization process of onions tend to make them bitter. I now add salt at the end of the process now.
As a Georgian, Pronounce "Vidalia" how you want. The way it's pronounced here the "l" is almost an afterthought, barely there. Practically "vi-Day-yuh"
😍😍😍😍😍
Have you ever cried yourself to sleep while cutting onions?
I guarantee the next video is on asparagus. Nasty stuff. Y’all who like it are mutants.
Awwww. Dan's god a code. :'(
How about making parmesan with cultures from my buttocks? Or a stinky cheese from the stuff living under the nail at the sides on the big toe? I actually tasted it and it was delicious.
Tears aren't an issue for me. Onions are a FODMAP food and I can't tolerate them.
Good lord. It's Vidalia. Vie Dale ya. Equal emphasis on the first two syllables, and ghost the L, almost like Day.
Maybe you should cry
