Mucus that’s what it is gross
I followed this tip, but I still see the white stuff on my salmon. ATK tips and recipes has always worked great for me. Wonder what am I missing here.
I followed the instructions, but maybe it is related to the type of salmon I used or cooking method.
I use individually frozen sockeye salmon vacuum sealed and I prepare it by cooking it under the broiler for 6-8 minutes. Any advice?
Oh but I like the albumen; it’s not pretty but I swear it’s the best part
smegma.
Albumin, aka fish blood !
Nah girl that ain't albumin 💀
Are you married? You are gorgeous…
This video is awesome her voice is great for this type of content
I’m actually glad I know that now.
white stuff that's a protein… no way internet, not today.
I live in Washington state and catch my own salmon. Never have I had any problem with this. It's just a part of the flesh. And no none of my guests have ever mentioned or complained about it. This is a made up problem that really doesn't exist. That said everyone have a great day. 😊🐟🎣🍻
Except salmon albumin is actually good for you as a source of amino acids and by doing this you're literally washing away many of the nutrients, collagen and omega-3 fatty acids that provide the health benefits of eating fish.
Picture perfect farmed salmon get the wild salmon
white of egg
I just fry it in a skillet with avocado oil and that stuff doesn't come out. I've honestly never seen it come out while baking either, though.
I always wanted to know if it was harmful. No I know it is not home. Thanks
Giggity …..
I'm guessing the brine makes the salmon salty, is that right? Or does bake "as normal" also mean season as normal?
That was actually wonderfully helpful. Thank you.
I thought it was fat😂
Hmmm, that doesn't explain that it comes out of pork chops and frozen burger patties too…I'm thinking this is something that was injected into these foods instead. 😉
