I prefer my blackstone pizza oven, it's outside not in kitchen, but stone rotates and if you like going to a wood oven pizza place, it's propane but cooks up like wood oven places do.
I bet you these glorified toaster ovens are warranted for one year and to get service you have pay shipping both ways. Bet there are no parts for them. Bet the ones that still work are all on OfferUp or at the Goodwill store in 2 years. Chinese cheap fire-hazard junk. All marketing.
What a joke, just buy a pizza stone and get practically the same results. This looks like a tiny oven with a stone in it. Just use your oven and spend $25 on a stone that will last 10 years
1000 dollars? Little ceasers 7dollars = 142 pizzas .average person eats 12 pizzas a year. It would take you 12 years to recover your money. Let alone time and a electric bill off the charts. Just sayin..
Ooni is also becoming one of those companies that thinks people will pay anything for their product. If they continue down this road I don't see them lasting another 5 years
Appliance and barbecue makers need to integrate pizza baking in their products. I make pizza at least once a week, but I don't have space for a dedicated pizza oven in my kitchen, and we get so much snow in winter that I couldn't count on anything outside. The price should come down as this feature becomes mainstream. Just my point of view.
Thank you, for this. It is a thing I have been thinking about.๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ฅฐ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐บ๐ธ๐ธ
I'm not for "one purpose" devices even if I'm a supporter of rice cookers, but pizza oven always felt way too expensive. It's as expensive as a brand new oven for 1/10th its size. This could be interesting for pizza fan if they don't have an oven, but even that, it's expensive and you better eat pizza every week to have a ROI versus an oven.
Note : Outside Pizza oven are often 1/3 the price, but require some more work and handling if you live place where winter exists
Compare it to a standard oven broiler on a pizza stone.
Don't buy the ones that just burn pellets.. they don't keep the heat, and the pellets keep on popping out of the fire box, and you'll burn yourself …

Step 1: find a thousand dollars
Interesting
โItโs super fastโ-heats oven in 20 mins ๐
Rockbox is better than both.

I donโt think Iโve spent $1000 on pizza n
In my lifetime
I question the durability of those stones.
I need the full video comparison, please

All that money and it doesn't rotate itself?! ๐
The phrases "oh and they're fast" and "they heat up in 20 minutes" don't belong together.
i donโt need burnt spots on my crust. ๐
Iโm drooling!!! Wow!!! Both look fabulous!!!โค

Didn't test the Blackstone

Electric? Garbage

I just use the grill
I noticed only the Ooni had a very useful overhead light… THAT would be the deciding factor for me
Get a pizza oven attachment for your smoker(if you have one). Tastes way better than an electric oven.
WHICH ONE???
Ouch! That's expensive! Get a good pizza steel and go to town. yes it will take 5 min per pizza but the savings are priceless
I was in the pizza business for a long time and those pizzas looked horrible.
Iโll stick with the cast iron skillet from stovetop to oven technique.

Its expensive at half the price! I really don't see where the cost is on these. It's more expensive than a decent basic full size range.
Ovens are better in my opinion. I donโt like burnt crust
This isn't even necessary, just get a pizza steel
Sounds like โpeopleโ need to have their tax rate raised.
