Salad + BBQs can work according to Ben. Still not sure if we convinced Jamie on that one but anyhow….

6/10 for the Aussie accent. Would have been 8 but 2 points were deducted because you didn't swear or do a head nod at the start of the declaration on spud salad
because you wrap the brisket in foil, after its god its bark, that way you keep the moisture in
You forgot the pineapple and beetroot on the BBQ at the
Jamie, a friend is mine in Tennessee had a smoker that he towed behind his pickup truck. It was massive. He made BBQ for connotations and charities. He made me a bunch of brisket. After he put a rub on the meat he would wrap it in an aluminum foil envelope/packet and that would lock in the moisture and he always smoked the brisket for 13 hours and add you learned you cannot leave it. He sat up in his driveway, with beer and sports on the radio and podcasts. Oh he made his own BBQ sauce which was spectacular and of course had Jack Daniels in it. Also his smoker had a thermometer and not an "ideal" meter LOL! Try different smoking wood chips. Apple is classic but in the US mesquite, hickory, maple are king but pecan is also widely used. BTW Jack Daniels makes a great whiskey barrel wood chip. I would be utterly shocked is Jim Beam didn't… I'm ask my sister in law… She's a Beam. That being said there are far better bourbons here. You guys would love the Kentucky Bourbon trail tour. It's not a 1 day tour and takes you to the birthplace of bourbon. You're juice couldn't do it in a day LOL! Lots of great food on the way too.
What was Jamie using to carve the brisket? Was that a WWI bayonet? LOL!
absolutely here for Mikes energy 😂😂
I feel like Ben has come from a very rich family and actually pays for a lot of the production himself. The subscribers just don’t seem to amount to how great the videos and editing and all that are. This is a great show I’m so surprised they don’t have their own tv show!
Here is dill in that salad dressing he didn’t mention
Always my job, salads and fresh baked bread. But today, it's also German cheesecake for desert. 😀
Who’s house was this that has a 6 grand BBQ Table? Lol
Barry practically swallowing his potato whole and trying to look innocent is the best bit.
I am so jealous of wherever you are staying. A pool and a BBQ table? Come on, man!
Y'all have a fucking pool and a barbeque table? YouTube is treating you well. Money on this being the Hertfordshire lad's place
i have never seen a bbq with soo many vegetables , weird
Yes! Ive been looking for this episode 🥰
In the Southern States of America a BBQ is a slow cook/smoke event.(24 hour Brisket, 12 hr Pork, 2 hr Chicken etc.) What you have is a "CookOUT" to us . As in 'We are going to cook outside on the grill'.
Normally I just do a quinoa, green bean and broccoli salad with feta and pine nuts. Definitely adding this asparagus one to my usuals.
Vegetarian/vegan barbecue is a sin
That's some cancerogenic dishes… 😀
My favourite vegetarian thing to put on a bbq is mushrooms marinated in some oil, paprika, garlic, soy sauce, black pepper + whatever spices you have to hand you think will taste nice. Better than any fake meat you can buy.
i wish i can join u if u have a job open
if you're gonna make potato salad, make macaroni salad, and if you're gonna make macaroni salad, make my Gram's macaroni salad.
Im stealing that potato salad recipe.
Peel and slice potato, butternut pumpkin, onion, sweet potato.. chuck in a bowl. Add salt pepper and olive oil
Fry on the grill. Amazing stuff.
I'm not sure how I missed this video. It's been 3 years and it never came up O.O
But can I just say Jamie is 100% correct. At a BBQ people bring sides and meat, but the veggies are typically borning (maybe 1 or 2 decent dishes) otherwise people just buy a veggie plate. Having a lighter potato salad is great for the hot months and I want to make the asparagus salad now (especially as it's starting to warm up… but since it's covid-19 season I guess I'll hold off on large BBQ gatherings) :'L
9:48 this is why i love barry. Such a good soul!
If I had a $1 for everytime Ebbers says “Jersey royals” I’d have quite the chunk of change
