So you need a partner, Raise You're OWN. beef. I don't know what it cost to raise a full size beef these days.
But if you Raise your own stock, you probably make a 3:30 better beef. Anyway, cause you don't know what It's eating. And that makes all the difference in the world.

I noticed as the prices rose, so did the usage of questionable tasting meat in food dishes. I think in order to keep costs down some places are using lower quality cuts of meat, which is turning off customers like me. This whole covid shutting down small food, then hyperinflation thing is going to ruin the food industry.
Every single foodie friend says the same thing-they can’t afford to eat out anymore, prices keep skyrocketing & the portions get smaller. Small businesses need to be able to flourish.
I'm sorry to hear – the food industry is under attack by inflation and a broken workforce, but i hope everything works out for you and your brand if you continue on 🙂

Don't let your dream slip away. Reduce your menu size, raise your prices and open it up again. Menu size is a problem you created, but you can solve it. Prices are not your fault and everybody are raising their prices. Again, don't let your dream slip away.

he,s right i seen a lot of food trucks close downa nd they said the cost they don,t have customers like they used to / like some at the beach closed down/food going up; insurance goes up/ cost of gas to get there/ people stated bringing gthere own food and snacks

I don't even know why anyone cares that a complete stranger has closed their food truck. I firmly believe people judge total strangers over things that are none of their business do so because they are weak, self-esteem compromised people. He could do whatever he wants.
I wonder how much of it is inflation and how much is just pretentious douchebags entering BBQ, and non-Texan a-holes invading the state and being willing to pay the prices so the price of the meat and everything shoots up. Eating BBQ my entire life as a Texan I've watched it get ridiculous as outsiders picked up on it. It's like wings. Just maybe 15 or so years ago wings were a good price. Super cheap. Now, wing prices just keep rising as idiots are willing to pay the price.
Damn, this hurts man, we are all going down together. I hope things get better and you can get back out and let people enjoy your food once again. I hope better times are coming.

I'm in a farming community. Here are facts you can look up online.
Do you know our beef gets shipped overseas. Why? Because our farmers have more regulations and cost so we need more money. So they ship that to other countries. But our farmers still barley get paid
Did you know in return the USA then has cheaper beef brought in to the USA.
Now look up the biggest packages companies in the USA they are owned by Brazil and others Then the foreign beef gets shipped to USA from non regulated farms so you don't know what you get. It's packaged in the USA with a American produce beef label just cause it processed here and packaged. And then the package company puts a high dollar and our USA farmers don't see any of it.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Free stuff isn't provided to us producers! The Freeloaders have a foothold and we're on the verge of losing the Best Country on the planet! Biden and the Free Stuff/ kill babies crowd are costing us big!!!

When the consumers are scrambling to make ends meet, it's expected that consumerism halts.

It’s difficult to raise prices to meet inflation, this is what’s hurting a lot of businesses. You almost have to update your prices monthly to keep up. Hopefully we can vote the current uni-party out of power and get our economy back on track, things are looking grim for all small business owners.
Big menus are a big problem even for a restaurant, you’re better off focusing on one good thing than 100 mediocre ones.
I’m from Mexico where even the taco stands or places usually specialize in one type of meat and you won’t find every Mexican dish in one restaurant, they specialize in one or a couple of dishes unlike here in the US when you go to a Mexican restaurant they give you a big menu with everything Mexican dish you can think of and well, you get a mediocre meal.

The rise of the cost of beef the last 5 years alone has made it almost impossible to afford to buy anymore. Almost makes ou think the beef industry doesn't want us to eat it anymore.
I seen where food trucks would make a deal with a bar that didn’t have a kitchen and he’d park there in the evening and sell his food. Think outside the box. Maybe talk to others who offer different menus and group together on a lot or somewhere you’ll bring in more customers to the area. I knew a guy in Columbia who went to the U. S. and bought 2 of those hotdogs wagons he did very well. He also had to change directions to the hotdogs. Good luck

I closed down my food stalls, virtual kitchen, and mobile trailer….Even though I was swamped with people ordering … YES THE SAME, COST OF FOOD, LABOR(CALIFORNIA), and VARIOUS PERMITS State and LOCAL TAXES….Just didn't make any sense when we crunched the numbers
