This is a terrible use of Shorts, come on now. Just taking a clip from a longer video and posting it on Shorts with a clickbait title, offering basically no new information or interesting take? Peanut is the best oil for frying because “it’s the best oil for frying.” We are living through peak content bloat 😑
Peanut oil, olive oil, butter, and/or bacon drippings for me. NEVER will you find Crisco/corn/veg oil in my kitchen. Peanut oil withstands the heat of frying, imparts no flavor of its own into your food, and–this is huge–doesn't make my kitchen smell like a fast food restaurant.
I never used thermometers and would heat my oil too high. Time to buy a good thermometer 🌡️ and use it.
I use grape-seed oil, introduced to America by Jean/Louis Palladin in the 1980’s. One of the benefits is that you cannot taste it in dishes like you can with peanut oil.
I tell you the father looks uncannily like Chris Kimball!!!
People with peanut allergies: Mmm that tastes good.
*dies*
It isn’t a very neutral flavor, I wouldn’t fry everything in it.
It’s not one of the healthy oils.
Interesting, I've been using corn oil at medium heat, I'm interested in peanut oil again now though thanks to this.
Thx for doing this and sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍
i dont think frying shorts in anything is going to make them taste good.. 8)
Love frying in peanut oil. Love the taste that comes from it!
Just make sure you are not serving to someone with a peanut allergy!
