Works very very well in margs too.
I add a pinch of salt to my Palomas and it changes the whole flavor!
We drink a lot of coffee in our house, we always put a pinch of salt in it.
Blind taste test please.
Nice video
So, you're recommending I craft a beverage named Love And Murder, and top it off with a few drops from an eye dropper? I'm not sure how my date is gonna feel about that.
Ill make myself a brown bottle of saline with an eye dropper and a had drawn label and go bar hopping right now.
Good or drink, a little salt enhances sweetness
Great tip! I also keep a tupperware of salted water in the freezer incase i want to make pasta
Percent is literal (at least in medicine it is). Per CENT. Per one hundred. 20% = 20 gm per 100 mL. Your final solution should be 100 mL. 20 gm + 80 mL = 25%. The beauty of metric is that 1 gm of water is 1 mL.
I crush Himalayan salt with a mortar and pestle. Ya, old style, baby. 🙂
I 100% agree a little salt makes many beverages taste better (coffee, for one). However, a 20% saline solution equals 200mg of NaCl in 1mL of water. To get that, you’d need to add 200 grams of NaCl to 1 litre of water. Your mixture of 20gm NaCl in 80mL water is equivalent to a 25% saline solution.
As a touch of salt will smooth coffee.
Must be why dirty martinis are so good.
Will use!!
It wasn’t long ago that I learned salt balances out bitter in cooking (I thought it was sugar, but that balances sour). This makes perfect sense and I’m sure will elevate cocktails!!
Thank you ATK!!
ATK drinkin on the job 😂 🤣
Who first devised a love and murder cocktail?
