Noooo, put it in water
I tried putting the avocados in the oven (not turned on) for a day, it worked! Avocados were perfectly ripened and made good guacamole 🥑

Why remove the pit? Why not just leave the pit in, put the two halves of the avocado back together, and wrap in plastic for a couple of days?
