Yeah I look to Julia now for such fantastic recipes .. so relaxing.. real – real 😊
And I think this music in the background has made it like a sponsored commercial or something. It's not as cravable or warming, can't explain it.
Why have the background music?
I'm trying to listen to Julia.
Would prefer to go with cherry tomato confit instead of adding the halved to the artichokes, they will not cook through in 1 minute as mentioned
I love the background music. The volume doesn't distract from the dialogue.

Without going into it any further, I'm sure there is probably a mechanism for opting out after the trial period, but they are betting that most people will just let it ride. BAIT AND SWITCH! BEWARE!

I’ve never read the Comments before but man there’s a lot of judge mental people watching cooking videos. I look two trying this recipe but am on WW so will use boneless chicken breast and see how it turns out. Low points!

So now I’m confused. I just watched a video by the NYT on roasting chicken and the gal said to take out at 150 because the chicken will continue to cook out of the oven. Here, Julia tested right out of the oven and got 160.
Frozen artichokes are so much better they don’t have that Tini flavor…. If you can get them at Trader Joe’s.
All of these recipes. What if you don’t own a microwave. I haven't for at least 10 years. 😮

you wasted A LOT if chicken juices! The breasts could have roasted in the pan they were browned in and then the cutting board was swimming in juice. Wasted flavor.😥

Hmm… I am skeptical about this being suitable for a weeknight. I marveled at the number of dirty pots and pans and other equipment that it needs. I think that it would overwhelm an average sized kitchen with dirty items to wash, and require more time than people usually have during the week. However, the meal looks delicious.

The editing here was really rough. Skipped steps, decided one of the one ingredients Julia mentioned (orzo) didn't even need to be in the video…overall just not great.

In my grocery desert area, skin-on, bone-in chicken beasts are not available, called Perdue and they blamed the pandemic. Can't say I buy this excuse.
