Today, I’m sharing a quick and easy Oatmeal Bread Recipe that’s both nutritious and delicious!
This bread is packed with protein and the wholesome goodness of oats , makes it perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re using it for sandwiches or topping it with fruits and nut butter for a healthy snack, this versatile recipe has got it all.
Ingredients:
3 cups oat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 scoops ( 2/3 cup) whey protein powder
1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
Instructions:
Preheat Oven at 190°C (375°F).
Make Oat Flour:
Place oats in a blender or food processor.
Blend until finely ground into a powder.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together 3 cups oat flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, and 2 scoops whey protein powder.
Make the Batter:
Add 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt to the dry ingredients.
Stir gently with a spatula until a smooth, thick, and creamy batter forms.
Prepare the Loaf Pan:
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Tap the pan lightly on the counter a few times to remove any air bubbles.
Sprinkle with a handful of rolled oats.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve:
Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving.
Tips:
You can adjust the sweetness by adding a touch of honey or maple syrup to the batter.
Experiment with different types of protein powder, such as plant-based options.
