this looks good
Making this tonight β¦ π¬
I saw this yesterday and i plan to make it tonight, hopefully its as good as it looks
He is NOT lying about the black pepper. Go ham with it, it goes so well!
using sea salt flakes in boiling water is insane, adding sea salt flakes into something that will desolve it is crazy, sea salt flakes are known as "finishing salt" as in you're supposed to sprinkle it over a finished dish. For pasta water USE TABLE SALT OR KOSHER SALT! Table salt costs about Β£0,078 per 100g, sea salt flakes costs about Β£2,14 per 100g
for the poor people: most graters have fine graters on the side of them so used that or manually grind the garlic into a paste (dunno if its different I live in the UK) and you can get a bag of mixed mozzy and other cheeses for Β£2 (convert to your own currency) a head of garlic for (illegally) 1p if you weigh it as carrots at tescos or pay 50p if you don't want to be a garlic bandit to a company that employs children and had a slave labour lawsuit in 2016, pasta can range but you can buy it for about Β£1, used to be ab 30p but yknow, corporate greed! anyway follow directions as said in video, I fuckin hate capitalism and this has been a commie chef's rant about capitalism, enjoy!
Stop translating Metric to Bananas! Force them to learn and convert!!
That's nowhere near enough garlic for that giant dish.
What happened to the parsley he cut in the beginning?
I veganized this recipe and it was great. Used nutritional yeast instead of the Parm, and made cashew cream in place of the cream. Daiya provalone added at the end… Very cheesy and very garlicky!
Only 1700 calories per portion
Just wanted to say this was beautiful! Iβm Nigerian so we love going over top with seasoning when we cook (which I love) so was skeptical if I would like this based on how simple the ingredients were. It was beautiful and my family loved it will be making again!
Thanks! Angel hair pasta would be great with this garlic sauce! Iβm going to teach this one to my daughter.
the olive oil at the end is overkill, otherwise great recipe
why cream??
I very much appreciate your explanations for why you do things a certain way and how they affect the dish. It's so hard to find (written) recipes that include those extra details, which I find help tremendously with ensuring whatever I am making is as good as it can be (and is also just fun to learn about). The information is truly invaluable, and
as you've provendoesn't take long to explain. You've definitely made me a loyal subscriber <3This looks amazing!! Can I use white wine instead of stock?
you know exactly what you are doing, explain so simply without extra nonsense, and also – you have a wonderful smile! keep doing you Jack!
the chef has OCD π
I never understood adding the pure olive oil at the end of a dish. Isn't that like super unhealthy? A lot of KCAL no?
I made this and added in some spicy blackened shrimp from a different recipe, it was ridiculously good.
Thanks.
I make my own creamy garlic pasta that I put my own bolognese on top. I cannot, CANNOT believe how much butter and cream you use here. You use maybe 10 times more than me, you cannot eat meals like this on a regular. Pasta water, a bit of strong cheese go an insanely long way to looking after your health. This is restaurant cooking (nice but it will kill you).
i just made this bc i was so sick of the same things over and over and this was so simple yet one of the best dishes i ever made, i swear. TRY THIS. i promise you will not be disappointed.
I can't wait try this im gonna make this at my parents house
I haven't made it yet, it'll be a few weeks before I can, but I can tell I'll like it. Big fan of black pepper in a cream sauce….or just about anything else.
THANK YOU for including metric measurements
This is a great recipe, the only downside is that it only tastes good fresh. Once its refrigerated for a few days it doesn't taste very good.
Parmesan… Why is it always the expensive parmesanπ€¦π€¦π€¦
tastes great i guess. but not so good for my cholesterol id say π
Now I get hungry π Sounds delicious!!!
Obsessive use of heavy cream. Don't be surprised if the population's obesity increases. The creaminess can be obtained with the cooking water alone, without cream. Digestibility, this unknown.
Looks amazingβ¦β¦.yum β€
Love the recipe! If I wanted to add a protein should that be cooked ahead and just added last or would you add it to the cream while its cooking?? Thanks in advance!

Half of these recipes I cannot try cos I have to import the ingredients from overseas or pay handsomely because my country doesn't have them… why do I even watch these
WOW! The UK puts potato starch on their grated cheese? Here in the US we get cellulose on our cheese AKA wood pulp! Our food regulations and standards are tha best! Our CDC and FDA also did a bang up job of collecting and data and statistics during the pandemic. And they were really great about being transparent and sharing it all with the American public. The government here just loves us all so much and theyβre totally trustworthy and reliable.
<pure sarcasm>π€¦πΌββοΈ
