I’m sharing some smoothie recipes with you today!! I have always preferred to eat my fruits and vegetables, so smoothies were never a staple of mine. However, I have found that when I’m in a flare with my ulcerative colitis, I’m able to tolerate the fruits and veggies if they’re blended!! This has made a HUGE difference for me!!
Keep in mind if you are following the WW plan, WW treats drinking fruit from smoothies differently than eating the fruit. Therefore, when you log this in your WW app, the points will be higher if you check the box saying it’s a drink. If you choose not to count the points in your smoothie, just leave the box unchecked. This is a personal choice and there’s controversy out there. Some people count it, and some don’t. So, as I always say, you do you. 😉

Thank you for a great video. For May I'd decided to incorporate more smoothies into my meal planning. Really like the sleep well smoothie. I'm not a kiwi fan but I'm even going to try it with the skin. For the Breakfast Oatmeal do you use a specific oats or does any type work. Thanks again.
I’m surprised your gut can handle all those chia seeds! I avoid them like the plague due to my diverticulosis. My favorite smoothie is 1/2 bottle of chocolate Premier protein, 1 chunked frozen banana, 1/2 C. Cashew milk & 12 gms of Orgain chocolate protein powder. I also add 2 packets of artificial sweetener & a drizzle of Zero Hershey syrup. It makes a BIG milkshake (more that your bullet will handle) that is only 1 point 💚 (I refuse to count blended fruit) I often put in a few leaves of spinach, too.

Those are so quite interesting smoothies. Does the protein powder you use have a taste to it? I haven't made a smoothie in a while but when I did I just used Ensure vanilla lite with either frozen bananas or strawberry's. Very boring compared to yours, lol. And no, I never counted the fruit even though we are supposed to and I still lost weight.

Hi Kristi, have been looking forward to this vid. I have muscle milk 100 cal. protien powder that I need to try in a smoothie. I’ve tried it in other types of drinks but it doesn’t dissolve at all. I’m hoping I can use it in a smoothie, otherwise I’ll probably throw it out. Such a waste, its a big container. Since its vanilla flavored I’m going to try it in the Tropical first. And yes, I count everything I put in my smoothies. Thanks for the video!

Our weather is starting to warm up so I can't wait to try your smoothies. That nighttime one looks divine! I still have been having a kiwi every night before bed, and I've been sleeping a lot better. I was going to stop for a few days and see if it really is the kiwi or just me, but then our grocery store had them for $3.99 for a 2-pound box and I couldn't pass that up. I can't thank you enough for sharing all of your tips and tricks and yummy recipes! 💕

I love smoothies! I never add sweetener but if the fruits are not as sweet I might add in a date for extra sweetness.
I love getting a bag of frozen mixed fruits like mango, pineapple and peaches and I usually have a bag of some kind of mixed frozen berries.
I don't count fruit in my smoothies. I don't drink enough of them or put ghat much fruit in them to make a difference
I'm anemic. I should get some chia seeds. Ty for the smoothie ideas.

If you follow WW, do you count your fruit in smoothies like WW suggests or do you still use them as a zero-point food?
