I effortlessly prepared flatbread without the need for kneading or fermenting the dough. This straightforward method involves just a few ingredients and a quick mix, taking only 5 minutes to complete. The result is a moist interior and a chewy exterior.
Ingredients
All purpose flour 240g (2 cups)
Water 480ml (2 cups)
Sugar 5g (1 tsp)
Salt 5g (1 tsp)
Cooking oil 1tbsp
TIPS
– Heat the pan over medium-low heat, close to medium, to prepare for creating larger bubbles. Once you’re ready to achieve bigger bubbles, increase the heat to medium.
– After cooking, cover the flatbread with a cloth. When it’s all done, the inside of the flatbread will also be delightfully soft.

Thank you for the recipe. I just tried it with rye flour and honey iso sugar – really good. I had to thin the batter down with each flat bread though, as rye flour seems to swell and thicken rather quickly.

The trick for me was to wipe the oil off the pan before putting the batter in. They didn’t puff but we’re soft, yummy and stretchy. I ate it with sour cream and with pasta sauce. Thank you!

Your title sucks. It says just mix water and flour. Only 2 of the 5 things required.
This was not a good recipe. First of all, there are no speaking instructions. And according to this recipe the batter was far too thick. I ended up adding approximately another one full cup of water and even then I think it needed to thin down a little more. I was barely able to get one decent bread, or technically a pancake out of this recipe. Don't bother making this unless you want to be very frustrated!

This the exact recipe for a crepe. Why does this rise but a crepe doesn’t? What did I miss? Both are all purpose flour.
Ok, the very first one puffed. After that, they either came out like a pancake or holes burst in them and the steam left before they puffed. Anyone got any words of wisdom?
