  1. YUM! I always look forward to trying your crockpot recipes. One question: I have the most basic Crockpot slow cooker, it cooks at such a high temperature even on low do you think i still need to precook the sausage? I don't mind extra grease, extra grease can be a good thing sometimes 😊

  2. Just shows how different cultures are. I have never cooked anything in my crockpot that a) comes from a packet b)has cheese or cream cheese in it. All my meat is fresh from the butcher and my veggies and herbs are either fresh from the store or from my garden. Stocks I make myself. I might use red wine, olive oil, or balsamic vinegar. Not saying that either way is better, just different.

  3. Easy crackpot dinner. 2 bags of meatballs, 1 bag of broccoli, 1 bag of matchstick carrots, 1 jar of salsa (your choice of heat), 1 jar of grape jelly. Layer as so 1 bag of meatballs, half jar of each salsa and jelly, half of broccoli and carrots. Next layer the same. Cook on high 4 hour or low 6 hours. Stir half way through. Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes. Enjoy.

  4. You might not realize the good you are doing in this “ community “. Husband is recently back from hospital with At Home help so everyday’s schedule is different.
Putting one of these various recipes into crockpot every morning has become very helpful. Good news..he is hungry at dinner time !
