today’s recipe is Cotton Soft Milk Bread / Milk Loaf / homemade Japanese Milk bread.

INGREDIENTS:
All-purpose flour or Bread flour – 400 g or 3 cups
salt – 7 g or 1.5 tsp
sugar – 45 g or 3 tbsp
milk powder – 45 g 3 tbsp
yeast – 7 g or 1.5 tsp
egg – 1 medium
water – 180 g or 1 cup
butter for grease on top

**instead of milk powder and water you can use liquid milk (180g) as well. **

  1. I just made it and the dough didn't stay like that… it was still too sticky, I had to add more flour… I used exactly the measurements you say, I even weighed them for better accuracy… right now I have it resting so that it grows… let's see how I left over after baking

  3. I made it at home and it taste like bread you by from store not milk, regular bread? I must've did some thing wrong! I exactly water the person did in the video! It was such an embarrassment because my mom told everyone I making milk bread and it turn out as good! Also, I let it fluff up 1hour and 20 minute, and put it In The oven it, it came out so dry and dense! It was embarrassing, I Don't know what I did wrong I followed the person in the video! This what happan to mine
