When cooking with alcohol the alcohol cooks off so the dish wont be alcoholic, same deal with using red wine in a tomato based Italian sauce that kids eat and some dishes have a full bottle. Vodka is a neutral spirit and doesn't really have much of a taste but i spose it adds something to the dish. I'll have to buy a jar of olives and bottle of vodka to test it out, Vodka cream sauce is also popular and I've had that and it didn't taste like vodka just a nice cream sauce.

Looks delicious. I think your version should be 'teetotaler' pasta…😂… my version would be 'dirty Martini' as I would go with vodka (I always have that😊) I think Maybe I finally came up with something we don't have in common 😉. When would you have added the vodka/gin? I have a bottle of each that I inherited from my mom's estate but don't really drink so perhaps this is a way to use it. 😅 🍸
