The story telling in this series was incredible! And your voice is great with naration and you interview people so well. Love how the taste tests are interlaced with interview footage, its so hard to click off. I wish it would go on forever, this is peak BBQ youtube content. I hope a network picks this up and contracts you for 100+ more episodes 😂
Good to see some Martin boys doing well
Love this series! Hope to see more coming in the future!
Mate this series is amazing. Gold stuff right there.
i love it! When they say BBQ is a community they aren't lying. My wife thinks I'm crazy for the fact I'll drive HOURS just to try different BBQ joints. Keep up the good work Matt!
This place looks amazing . And I think chuck is gorgeous 🙂 I can't wait to try it next month !!!!
My first time seeing Jirby not in his YouTube persona.
This is great . It is good to know the Texas BBQ tradition continues. I am pleasantly surprised young folks have stepped up to keep it alive and improve on it to make their mark. BBQ in my ñeck of the woods is a setback because the old pit masters have passed away.
We need more Pit Stops!
How much is a tray of bbq??
Man that's a lot of leftovers. Sadly no BBQ is close to these in Ohio.
Great Video .. I absolutely loved Goldees when I was there… Wish I had known about Daynes. Maybe if I am able to get out that way again. Next time I know where Meat Church is as well and will be sure to check it out
when's a new episode coming!?
Matt,
Just Love your channel. Your Pitt Stop series was great. 213,000-ish view between 3 shows including your intro. Hoping you do more, maybe with a deeper dive. Say 1 stop in the 8-9min clip instead of 2. Your interview skills are wonderful. You make your guests and viewers feel like we are all buds/family. Speaking of interviewing skills your Guest Pitmaster series was fab as well. Let's see more. Get back and revisit with Dwayne. 16 different sausages, come on. Interview him and walk us through at least one of them.
Lastly, I know your thinking, jeez…will this guy ever shutup… How about some sides as well. We love all the protein tips and tricks but what about the sides? Pick some from all these places that you go, either in the Pit Stop or guest Pit Master and show us some sides.
Did I mention I LOVE your channel??
The CanAm looks like a hoot to ride! Your kind of sitting on the area where the flat ends and the point begins. Worlds fastest Brisket!
🤟😎🤟
The camera work in this video is insane! Wow
Love your content! I have a cabinet full of Meat Church rubs!
Next time I’m in Ft. Worth…this is a desired stop!
Matt, just saw you on the Can-Am commercial here in SoCal..
Pumped Up!! Headed to Goldee’s in 10 minutes- 1-hr drive 😊👍👍
This is a great series. I love traveling around Texas trying new BBQ. It would be great to see more amazing spots to visit.
9:18.
This shot is huge! If Goldee's is ranked #1 in Texas right now and they use the Texas crutch (tin foil) on their briskets, this is proof of what I have been saying for years that you don't need butcher paper to make amazing briskets. I would argue if you got a good solid bark that tinfoil is actually better because you don't lose any of the juices, while in butcher paper you do.
This makes me want to visit daynes…
I love myself some good bbq and I'm looking forward to stopping at a few of these places when I get down to Texas later this year, but I don't understand the sliced white bread that both of these joints had. I went to a bbq joint in Nashville and got the same white bread on the side. It just seems so out of place.
This video kills most food reviews/ food videos period 👌
Question….But what happens to the food? In these episodes Matt is given huge platters of food but appears to take a few bites and leaves majority of the food on the platter. I'd hate to think that the hard work these people are doing to serve him and majority gets thrown away.
I need to move to Texas
I started seeing this series and immediately subsribed the channel. If it has season 2! I'm down ❤️ love all the way from India
these are too short. not enough of the stop to much other stuff
Pitt Stops – Awesome!! Love the story telling and passion from these business owners and Matt. Matt, I have to ask if you have plans to post your content/videos on Rumble? I suspect your audience with only grow. Let your followers know. Thanks.
The fact that Goldees is doing well is special. This road trip highlights two great ideas that are still alive in America" (1) The American Dream is still alive and well. Thankfully the negative nay-sayers have not cancelled it! (2) BBQ is still great throughout the land. Though it is different in various regions throughout the country it is good to know it brings people together from all walks of life to sit down together and have civil conversations over great food. Its great to see these guys who were childhood friends do well in their endeavor and watch their business thrive. Thanks for posting this content.
Most underrated series on YouTube 🔥🔥🔥
