Still too cool at the rim of our 12" Lodge pans on every inductor cooker! Inductor with is everything!!!
Thank you for a very informative video!
looks at my 8-inch stainless-steel skillet
Duxtop it is!
PLEASANT DAY OUR BEAUTIFUL COUSINS 💕💕💕❤️🍀
WONDERFUL
Copper is 6.50 dollars a pound, compared to gold at 4500 dollars an once, silver is 65 dollars an once ! It's pricey because they're greedy !
Have one of these! Love it! So much better than my electric stove top.
Had the duxtop and got rid of it. On hi it will shutoff when it gets hot and ruin searing or stirfrying.
If the Breville was entirely made of oxegen free copper, it still should not be anywhere near $1,500! Silver, yes. That is just insane for a single burner.
Copper isn't that expensive
my duxtop burner got me and a friend through kitchen remodels. yes it was unevenly on my 12" pan, but it works great. don't like the squeeky noise it makes though.
Copper fails to account for the 10× price of the Breville…
Coincidentally, I ordered the duxtop 9100mc a few days ago and it just arrived. Very impressive so far boiling water especially for the price.
Sounds like a good choice for flat-bottomed woks, which have a small contact area.
Neat, and thanks for the heads-up ❤
Y'all are the best! Thanks for the honesty
With today's electricity rates, no thanks.
The IKEA Induction burner cost $75 bucks, and it is still a good buy.
As a Truck Driver, the smaller unit would actually be perfect for my individual needs here in the cab.
Nuwave Gold Induction Top.
It has a range of 100F to 575F.
It cost about $100.00
A Breville ‘Control Freak’ isn't just an expensive regular induction burner. It’s a specialized commercial-grade laboratory instrument disguised as a kitchen appliance. Like comparing a Mercedes S-Class to a Toyota Corolla. The technology in the Breville unit is over the top. Out of my price range, but I want one.
It has little to do with the cost of copper. New copper is currently $6.50 per pound. $1500 will buy 230 pounds. The Breville ‘Control Freak’ Home model weighs only 15 pounds, total.
In China you can get a national well regarded brand for $100 that is better than the $1500 one you recommend and that was 10 years ago it’s probably cheaper today
I appreciate the effort you guys take in looking for budget picks!
I don’t know if $150 is budget pricing for this category … cheaper doesnt always mean budget. But, I’ll assume this means there isn’t a competent option for 100 or 70 or whatever.
