America’s Test Kitchen is a real 2,500 square foot test kitchen located just outside of Boston that is home to more than three dozen full-time cooks and product testers. Our mission is simple: to develop the absolute best recipes for all of your favorite foods. To do this, we test each recipe 30, 40, sometimes as many as 70 times, until we arrive at the combination of ingredients, technique, temperature, cooking time, and equipment that yields the best, most-foolproof recipe.
Each week, the cast of America’s Test Kitchen brings the recipes, testings, and tastings from Cook’s Illustrated magazine to life on our public television series. With more than 2 million viewers per episode, we are the most-watched cooking show on public television.
More than 1.3 million home cooks rely on Cook’s Illustrated and Cook’s Country magazines to provide trusted recipes that work, honest ratings of equipment and supermarket ingredients, and kitchen tips.

It's funny to see the price of the victorinox knife rise between each video you recommend it xD It's now 80$ in canada. Far from the 22$!
I purchased the Victorinox knife around 2013 and it's still great! Occasional sharpening and it's good as new!
nothing but net
That garlic press is a piece of crap. I had one and it was one of the worst tools i ever have had.
Every single link goes to Amazon. Read the negative reviews of a product to find out what people are saying about its durability. Customers have been saddled with counterfeit items breaking within months of purchase.
Is there an update to this list?
9 yrs later I finally got the Kuhn Rikon garlic press!

I LUV America's test kitchen. They help navigate the best cooking experience with the things you need (YES NEED!) in order to prepare meals that you and your Zoom friends will absolutely enjoy. Good cooking utensils are essential to the process. (Which i am learning during this sequester). The recipes are an added bonus. Luv it all. 👏🏾
I wish you list the names of the products so that we could spell and find them easier.
Merry Christmas. Here, have some tongs.
I purchased the garlic press via your amazon link. the press came DOA i never even got the chance to use it ounce! it came with the rivet detached from the plunger. just bad.
I hate when anyone says shit like under x amount but it's like 1.99$
Under 2$
Ya that's Bs just make it 2$
Stop with this under shit
It's 1 cent off
every time you give a good review on something the price doubles online.
Rada best peeler! Made in the USA under $15- tried to many to mention!
I don’t like knives without a proper hilt, nor do I like tongues that only meet at the very tip. I just wish someone would buy me wooden skewers, they must be the most useful accessory.
she never mentioned the price of the garlic press.
best!!!
Thanks. I would like to be able to print the list.
"All purpose chef's knife, 8 inches" All-purpose.. hmm… *imagines some chef goring someone in the neck* o.0
great suggestions! i would love all of those things
