  1. I like using your YT recipes and enjoying your cookbook. But I DO NOT like ketchup based sweet and sour sauce. Gonna use this recipe but substitute another home "brewed"sweet and sour sauce, no ketchup, to go with it. Ima ketchup connoisseur when it comes to American meals like burgers and such, but for Chinese, not so much.

  2. Hi, Mandy.

I’m new to Chinese / Asian cooking but I’ve recognized your expertise for many months. I’ve dabbled in my attempts in the past, but none have ever come out as fine and delicious as this recipe of yours. Dedicating myself to following your recipe explicitly, it came out as tasty and addictive as you promised – thank you!

You are a fantastic cook, and you have a great website; I will be trying many of your recipes moving forward.

    😊

  3. It's fantastic but……. this is not the first recipe for this that you had. We didn't have orange jam, so we left it out and it's over powering with the apple cider vinegar. That said what is the original recipe ?

  4. This is absolutely the best sweet and sour pork I have ever had. It took me about 5 hours to follow your recipe and make it, but the entire family loved it so much that there were sadly no leftovers for the next day! Thank you for such a great recipe.
