The Blackstone Griddle Cooking Station is a TikTok superstar, and Chef Tony had to see why with his own eyes. In a barrage of tests to prove its quality, performance, and features, the good chef boiled down the Blackstone Griddle to its essence: an excellent cooking surface with a few extra bells and whistles that make it a worthy investment for just about anyone. No wonder TikTok seems to love griddling on it! Looking to dispense with that grease quickly? You’ll be in great hands with the patented rear grease management system, which offers simple removal of your griddling aftermath. Meanwhile, built-in bonuses adding valuable prep space earned marks for clever functionality. But why are you still reading this? Scroll back up and listen to the good chef tell you all about this Blackstone Griddle, and maybe you’ll find yourself banging out breakfast before you know it.

Chef Tony Matassa grew up in the restaurant business, starting in his family’s New Orleans eatery before running one of his own. No wonder he has such vast knowledge of and passion for food science, which he puts to use every day as our jack-of-all-trades (and master of many). Longtime fans of the channel know Tony has been testing grills for more than 10 years, though we’re partial to his performance in our recent Grillabilities℠ series.

Just bought today now impatiently waiting for delivery
Please review the Blackstone Select 36. The 304 stainless steel and brass embellishment looks luxurious. awesome content!
Great video with lots of hands on testing! I have the 2 burner 24k btu 22" adventure ready and I see well over 600 degrees towards the center when left on high for 15 minutes. Amazing for putting a sear on steaks. I was surprised to see the lower temps on this 36" 4 burner model.
Built to a price point, not bad but it is most likely more than you will want to spend for the deal you think you are getting. 399 is a reach, 299 would be a deal.
Nothing short of OUTSTANDING!!!! Amazing, detailed, descriptive video. Well done sir!!! Mine was literally delivered this morning.
I just got the 36 inch today, i think its the same one as the video. I never considered getting one before. My job had a sales contest last month i won and this was the prize (plus commission) so I'm trying to figure out if i should keep it or sale it. If the food cooking that much better that i should add this beside my propane grill? And advise would be appreciated
Wonderfully well produced review…relevant content presented in a concise format…a good use of my time to view this. Thanks!
Never had a griddle top before. Are they easy to clean?
What about natural gas??
does this models legs fold if you want to take it somewhere?
Just noticed that it looks like you may have put the shelves on the wrong ends, the magnetic strip should be on the front side, not the back. I have this same grill I picked up on sale several months ago. Very happy with it and would recommend it to any one looking to get into flat top grilling.
couple things to look out for. when you grab free floating cover to lower and hook on the back, don't accidentally hook the grease trap that has dirty grease from day before and knock it to the ground making a gross mess. not hard to do but you'll only do it once. the paper towels like to unroll and blow about on that holder for some reason. the wind will inevitably blow them right into the open flame underneath, like happened to me. fortunately i had cleaned up the grease slick on the floor of my garage before the paper towel fire made its way into it. no complaints but this thing cooks really hot !!! i usually have the rh burner off totally and the rest on low and only move the way lh to high when cooking the proteins and that only for 5-10 minutes. hot hot
Looking to buying this in a few months. Thank you for the great, in-depth video!
So is it ok to cook on it while you have the cover hanging on the back?
Got one from Tractor supply for my anniversary, looking forward to using it after work today, hopefully.
Very nice review

Where’s the bottle opener?
You didn't mention anything about how to season this griddle or it's cleaning.
