not Philly cheesesteak. I don't know why everyone wants to call something with steak and cheese a Philly cheesesteak anything. The onions aren't caramelized, the cheese isn't worked into the meat, the bread is the wrong kind (yes Kings Hawaiian is great, but the bread is an essential part of a Philly cheesesteak). A Philly Cheesesteak, like any other regional food, has a heritage and specific details that need to be adhered to to be true to form. One would not call a pizza in Neapolis a pizza if it had pepperoni on it. One would not call a lobster roll in Maine a lobster roll if it had green peppers on it. etc
