Probably one of the best explanatory culinary videos that exist on YouTube of all time. And I've been watching food videos all my life. Thank you.
no_ burn them whole then remove skin and seeds under cold running water
Nice! Thanks for the new method! I generally roasted on 400, rotating peppers until they’re entirely charred all the way around. Appreciate this faster, more efficient method 🙏🏽👌🏽🙌🏽
Do this with a couple tomatoes and onions and blend them with cilantro, salt, and sugar and you have homemade salsa.
what if you don't have any pepper? Can you just use salt?
but what about the black burnt bits? can we eat them?
Yes , use the broiler
yom
You have added so much complications to the act of putting a pepper in a fire
Forgive my ignorance, but does it taste good if you keep the black part on there?
Love the combination of reusable techniques
Steamed (in the foil paper) inside or outside the oven?
Is that ajvar?
This is great! Gas stoves in Korea have a button at the center that needs to always be pressed down or it will turn off as a safety feature (if you have a pan on the stove, the pan bottom presses it down naturally). This means that I can't just turn on the stove without a pan on for more than ten seconds or so, which makes it sooooo difficult to char things as I want using the stove fire, so very frustrating. I will def try this method.
Bread-mustard-mozarella-grilled paprika-ham, my favorite sandwich, made entirely possible by this
isnt the peeling where the vitamins are?
I do this in the air fryer and then steam in a plastic bag. Easy peasy.
Oh just in time – I was thinking how to char my peppers laying in a fridge 😊
I've never ever bought jarred bell peppers..
Wrong

You're grilling peppers. Why do you call it broiling when you're just putting the peppers under a grill to char them?
Thank you!
Holy, moly!!! I've made these for years and never thought to make them flat.
Can you freeze these after roasting?
Scrambled eggs, brie and rrp's on a baguette. Best sammich you will ever have. 😊
Wait a second, this video is psychic! I was JUST complaining about this being an awful process under a crappy apartment broiler, but the method of slicing the pepper down is genius, why didn't I think of that??? Brilliant
Thank you! How serendipitous!I was thinking the other day that I wanted to find a way to roast peppers because I have an electric stove so I can't do it over an open flame, which is the only method that most chefs show.
yummy
I love seeing people use the entire pepper 😍
Chipotle made easy… 🤌
