  1. Those look awesome. I'm a very good cook and a decent baker, but I absolutely cannot work with yeast. I've never had success…even with a bread machine. I'm guessing I get my liquid either too hot or not hot enough, but try as I might, I cannot make a yeast bread. My other difficulty is tempering eggs. Again, a temperature issue, I'm sure.

  2. Homemade Dinner Rolls

    3 cups bread flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/3 tsp salt
    2 tablespoons active yeast
    1 1/2 warm milk 110-112°
    (Blend well before adding butter and egg)
    5 1/2 tbs softened butter
    1 room temperature egg
    Three 1/2 cups bread flour (to add to mixture when it becomes sticky)
    -Add dough to a greased bowl cover allow to rise for 1hr
    -form into to rolls, cover and rise for 30 minutes
    Bake on 375 for 12 minutes uncovered and 5 minutes covered
    Top with butter
