  1. This is one of the Best recipes for drumsticks. I made some boneless skinless breasts this way too because not everyone likes skin and dark meat in my family but everyone loved this. I use a similar rub but I followed your bbq sauce tips and everything turned out great. I made a twice baked potato, cheese, bacon and leak casserole and added beans as sides. Thanks for the recipe, its a keeper.

  2. Ok do i make my version of this all yhe time its a favorite in my household now ! Instead of applecider vinger i usually use balsamic and instead of smoked paprika i use liquid smoke in my bbq and regular paprika in the rub. I also allow my chicken to sit out while im prepping i cook mine for 30 mins at 400° then 10 mins at 475° i use sanders chicken drums at walmart and the chicken always comes out sticky and juicy ! Oh also sometime I don't necessarily feel like making my own bbq so sometimes i buy my favorite one from the store and just add raspberry/ strawberry jam to it and its just as good! Oh and i also double the amount of seasonings ( except the salt) and i added pepper.

What i getting at is this recipe is very versatile! And always delicious. Thank you for sharing so many years ago !
