Sending Alex prayers! My family has made a variation of this for 20+ years and it’s our favorite! We use egg noodles, toss that with 1 can cream of chicken soup (haters please don’t hate). After cooking the ground beef and sautéing with onions, add to that one can tomato soup, 3 T brown sugar, Italian seasoning or basil/oregano/thyme and simmer. Then layer meat over noodles and add cheese on top. Very similar, but more of a sloppy Joe flavor.

You could add Italian Sausage, Onion, Bell Peppers, Zucchini, Parmesan Cheese, and Mushrooms (I'm allergic) and make a Feast out of it with a little Side Salad! Serve with Hot Buttery Breadsticks and it will be Fantastic! Yummy! Now I'm starving and want this for Supper! Play some Gospel music and get in the Kitchen and Start Dicing your Veggies and throw this together in 30-45 min tops! Use a small hand Chopper and 35 mins you can have it done! Yummy! Has it been 10 years already? And this Hamburger Casserole is extremely close to the Mexican casserole that My mom always made. She was layer some Tortilla Chips on top of the Noodles and then cover with the meat and have peppers cooked into the meat. She would also top the meat with another layer of Tortilla chips and top with cheese. So you get a crunch along with all the owiee gowiee Awesomeness.
And to close, Prayers going up for Alex and in hopes God eases her mind and helps her in what she's facing. In Jesus name, Amen.
