  1. thank you for showing me how to make this very tasty bread. What I really like very much is how you show stage by stage, fantastic. very similar to my Portuguese Easter Bread. I also make a braid and shape it around and then I had full eggs (as many as the people coming for Easter dinner) that will cook once in the oven. I love Challah bread very much.

  2. When I was a kid, the moms at our synagogue would hold challah making events for us kids. I never appreciated it back then, but now I’m realizing how important it is to me. It’s been forever since I’ve made challah, thanks so much for the recipe!

  3. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:7)
When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Mark 2:17)

  4. I’ve made this a couple times, and my loaves keep burning on the bottom. I just tried a silicone baking sheet on the baking pan, and it worked to prevent the burn on the bottom. Just a heads up for people trying this for the first time. 😀

  5. I'm not jewish but my grandma always used to have my brother and i celebrate the Sabbath and even though it wasn't my thing, this bread remains a super positive part of my childhood which is.. Kind of a rare thing. Imma try and make it now. Bring some of that serotonin into my new life maybe. Its not disrespectful to make this being non Jewish, is it..?
