This fluffy white bread machine recipe only requires few ingredients, and it is very easy to make. Making this white loaf is beginner-friendly and so foolproof that whatever breadmaker you use, it very difficult to get it wrong. But don’t let that simple recipe fool you; it makes a really lovely soft and light white loaf of bread.
However, if your bread maker loaves have a hard or gummy texture or cracked crust, or collapsed top, check out my breadmaker troubleshooting guide below:

Can you use cake flour, I always confused.
thank you for this. the bread I currently make is fine to eat but it's got more of a Madeira cake feel.
I'm following the recipe that came with the bread maker but I just want the bread more light and fluffy will
100% be giving this a go.
Flavor is a 10 with this recipe, but crust on my machine keeps getting hard (Crunchy) even if I put it on the light color. Any advice?
turn off the music
Going to try it
Should the water be warm to activate the yeast ?? I am thinking of getting a bread machine but never tried it before.
What weight or size setting did use for this recipe
Please list regular sizes in ounces along with the metric equivalents. This recipe was difficult for me to use. Please be more customer oriented.
Wish you could had done this recipe in cups because I can’t figure out what the 280 ml is cause it came up one cup .18 so I’m totally confused on the one and . Is
Is this a 1 pound bread machine?
Every recipe I have seen and anybody I have asked recommends (insists) keeping away salt from yeast when loading ingredients in the machine.
Bread flour? All Purpose flour? Paddle? Lol smh
I love this recipe the bread is amazing, the bread delicious. I am finding that the top of my bread collapses slightly whilst baking. I have checked and its either too much liquid or yeast. Has anyone else had this?
What size is the loaf?
Big like…this is the 1st time in 15 years that I was able to make a super tasty and super nice bread in a bread maker machine. Thank you!
Hi.great recipe.came out beautiful and fluffy.i would suggest half the salt content to 1tsp or even 3/4 tsp
Bought to replace a much older machine. Love all the choices, compared to the old machine MyBest.Kitchen of 3. Able to do all my bread types, plus able to do gluten free and quick breads and cake.😊☺
My machine needs to know of this is for a 450g or 750g bread?
Where do I find the recipe, please?
What kind of yeast did you use, please? 10 gm seems a lot to me.
I made it and it was delicious but I'd like a bigger loaf so if I double up the recipe will it make the loaf bigger or inedible ?
I tried this, and it did not rise, came out terrible.
I added brown flour as I like fibre in my bread. And it turned out so good. Lovely aroma all over my house… I did add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda too to get that cakey texture
I wish recipes came in cups and ounces as well as grams. Don't have a clue how to measure this .
This is just standard bread recipe, not for fluffy.
I’ve used this recipe multiple times and it comes out perfect each time. Thank you.
New sub! Thank you for sharing!
forget the music and add a description of the ingredients
Where’s the recipe
Just made it the most fluffy bread 🍞 thanks
I thought the yeast (dried) was not allowed to touch the water/liquid? Other recipes I’ve seen either put yeast first and liquid last or the reverse. What type yeast do you use?
Yeast added with bottom liquids??? Not on top of flour???
Please write your recipes using cups instead of ml's…..I bake all the time but if I find a recipe that doesn't have cups I skip right over it. I have no way of converting ml's into cups…..I'm sure other people are the same way.
Water is cold or warm?
This is going to sound so ridiculous, but during 2021, I made a goal for myself to learn to bake fresh bread. This was the first recipe I ran across online that someone like me (with very basic baking skills!) could do. Thank you for releasing this video, you helped me reach my goal just before the year turns over and for that I’m grateful to your channel 😊🙌🍞🥖
what weight setting for this recipe?
Bread turn out hard with thick crust although I follow all the ingredients as stated
Thanks for sharing. I was looking for a recipe that used ingredients in my stockpile.
Thanks for the recipe. I made it, but found I had to add at least 20ml more of water, as the dough was a bit too hard after mixing time in the bread machine. I used a scale to measure 450g flour.
I’m glad to see you’re using your “loaf” 🍞by buying a bread machine. I feel like an “outsider” for not having one. You could possibly start selling your bread. I heard there’s a lot of “dough” in it. I suppose you have to earn a “crust”, especially if you are living on the “breadline”. It could be a good source of income for you. It would be your “bread and butter”. Sorry for the bad english. Intelligence doesn’t run in the family, I must be “in-bread”. I have to say I admire your baking skills. I’m not exactly my “Mother’s Pride” with my bread making skills. My wife really ”kneads” one of those machines for her sandwich making business. Her name just happens to be “Marg” would you believe. She is one hell of a gossiper. She “spreads” it about a bit and can’t keep a secret. Have a nice day with your lovely bread making machine.
My machine have 3 settings… 1lb, 1.5 lb and 2lb which one should i use?
How much is 10g of yeast?
After buying a new bread machine, immediately follow yr recipe n oh wow my bread turn out to be nice n great!!
