for those of you that like less sweet cookies use this recipe (same one but doubled ingredients, less sugar and chocolate chips)
INGREDIENTS
1 cup melted butter
3/4 cup + 2 tbsp light brown sugar
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
¾ cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl melted butter and sugars. Mix to form a paste.Add eggs and vanilla, mix until thick and smooth. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, sift it in the paste. Fold until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. Scoop about 2 TBSP of chilled dough onto a prepared baking sheet. Bake at 325 F (160 C ) for 8-10 minutes
Can we add salted butter and skip adding the salt?

Everyone who said to use brown butter is a godsend
I think this is the first time I’ve actually properly browned butter and it was 100% worth it
