  1. I agree with your instructions for cooking cod except your choice of oils. both sunflower oil and vegetable oil are unhealthy oils. I fry my foods in lard, which is made of animal fat which is healthy fat.

    I have had a little cafe… made everything from scratch… raised out in the country… BEEF..
    I have always been afraid (there I said it) of cooking FISH… so sillllllly. I know.

    Can you put 50/50 oil/ butter?

  3. Why would you season the skin side of a fish? What's the difference between pan seared and pan grilled? You don't have coals you don't have a fire, there's no difference, it's all pan seared. You're seasoning is bland.

  4. 你们西方人做的鱼肉不可能像亚洲人做的那么好吃,每次看见你们西方人开始就是把鱼皮的表面都给煎炸了,鱼的表面变硬了就不可能达到最鲜嫩的境界了。亚洲人做的清蒸鱼才是世界上口感最鲜嫩最清甜的鱼肉。你们西方人永远不会懂什么叫鲜嫩。。。

  5. Thank you for this! I keep coming back to it time-and-time again. Is there any chance you'll do another one following the same lines and giving more ideas? I would be interested to know more ways of cooking cod. Milk? Batter? Do you use these?

  6. I made the first way tonight. Next time I will only season one side of the fish, it was a touch salty, but that was my bad. Otherwise the timing worked perfectly. I had two thick fillets and a thin one. I did the thick ones 3 minutes a side and the thin one 90 seconds a side. The fish was flaky and tasty. I will do it this way again for sure!!!! Thanks!
