  1. I'm remembering when the lowly chuck roast was the cheapest meat at the supermarket. Not todaty! I almost choked when I saw how much one roast would cost….almost $25 for a 2 pound roast! This recipe looks delicious, but is the celery really necessary? Is it optional? Enjoyed your video, always do. Still making your Italian meatball recipe. Stay wel!

  2. Tried this recipe today. Such a tasty and hearty meal, after shoveling snow 😉 I had beef broth on hand, instead of beef stock… but after adding the thickener… it worked out the same. Going to look through some of your other recipes now. Cheers!

  3. I'm holding you to it boys! It's -23 in Toronto and I braved the cold and went shopping for the ingredients this morning, as you inspired me! (Calling all Canadians, a chuck roast is called a blade roast here). I am making the stew tomorrow and will share my (positive) comments. 😉

  4. My daughter is moving to new york. Im having a get-together so i asked her what she wants… Beef stew.. i dont wanna but cans of stew! So ive been watching videos for ever…!! I cant wait to make this on Tuesday! With frybread!
