Jus bought some Texas Sugar to try on a dry brine, wild turkey breast.
Had to buy my Bird Baptism Brine early this year! Ready for the turkey. And seasoning it with Texas Sugar.
Thanks again. Love the info!
For an awesome appetizer, smoked cream cheese (Matt's idea of course) with Texas Sugar rub. Spread on a cracker with a dollop of red pepper jelly. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
1 part voodoo and 2 parts slap yo mama with a tsp of cayenne mixed with flour for fried crappie….. I guarantee the best crappie recipe you'll ever try!
I feel like you should know how good blanco is for homemade gravy. Use liberally with a splash of Texas sugar….mmmmmmm!!!!
Just used the blanco on smash burgers for my kitchen staff and they just hit different!!!
Love your channel and your willingness to share your knowledge. I stay in South Africa and one of my friends is visiting the USA soon. He can only bring me one shaker/packet of your spice back to SA. What would you suggest? I mostly do pork, chicken and some beef on the Weber. Please let me know what you'd suggest. Thanks!
The new Hickory seasoning is amazing !!!!!!
Anyway can develop low sodium products
Bring back the bacon only seasoning. Blanco is my new go to for red meat and my daughter uses honey hog on everything she eats!
My wife absolutely LOVES Texas Sugar. It’s such a “sweet” seasoning without a ton of sugar. Definitely awesome
I just looked up the dealer locations…..But, I am pretty confident that I purchase one of your seasonings at a big box store…. Can't remember if it was the orange one, or the blue.
Regardless, what is the best way to store these once we open them??
I hope I’m able to get your seasonings for the rest of my life. I love them
Is that an Omega Seamaster?
Holy voodoo is where it’s at
Got my first Blanco 2 days ago. I put it onto a smoked chicken. Fantastic. Then tonight I dusted it on a marinated tri tip before it went on the grill. Amazing. And then I used it to season my asparagus. And my wife put it on her eggs this morning.
So it’s official. Blanco is 😙👌
I don't eat eggs at home without voodoo and everyone I know now has bought honey bacon to sprinkle on bacon. I will never eat food the same way again. Thank you Matt!!!!!
Hey Matt!
I finally recieved my "5-pack" spices. I know you cant do anything about the USPS but man they are slow.
Ive used the Holy Cow for 2 years–simply amazing, but I just used the Blanco on a few items incluidng wood roasted Calzones..All I can say is Thanks! That spice is awsome Matt! Take care.
I got the Ocho pack. Best seasonings I've tried so far. I like variety and everyone knows when I show up I bring the seasoning. Big hit
Blanco is my new 2nd favorite. Discovered Meat Church with the Holy Voodoo and it will never be replaced as my #1.
Why does this guy not have 1 million subscribers yet?? Come on people this guy is next level
Honey hog hot & Voodoo are so so good
This was great. I noticed the icons on screen when you were describing the uses for each rub. Could you put a chart on your site that we can print out? Would be perfect fridge material 😁
Which one is your best combination for brisket ? Pulled pork ? Ribs ?
I use Holly VooDoo on Roast Veggies with bacon fat and my guest always ask why mine taste better then theirs.
New to smoking meat and picked up honey hog and holy gospel a month or so ago after doing home rubs a few times. Awesome mixes! The family loves the finished product every time. Almost out of the honey hog. Just picked up the ocho set on the website. Really looking forward to comparing the hot honey and Texas Sugar with ribs and testing everything on vegetables😋
Blanco is the truth
Love the Blanco!
I added Voodoo seasoning to Alaska red salmon, and Traeger grilled to cherry and maple pellets, some of the best salmon I've ever had!
Agreed about the Holy Voodoo! I put that on everything, including corn on the cob. No butter needed, it's that good!
We need another video on which rubs you use together.
How can we get the TX Whiskey seasoning back?
Holy Voodoo on pork is something special.
I'm making some fridge pickles tonight with blanco.
I love voodoo on wings also. I mix mine with a little Texas sugar when I season my wings. I have yet to try the Blanco but it is next on the list.
Hi, Matt! Thanks for these explanation videos! Love your flavors… use them all the time, and they are my wife's fave is well. I have one issue, though, in that when I buy them, they tend to clump, and stick together, making it more difficult to shake out evenly over meat. I can break them up in the bottle, but once I start shaking over the meat, it starts to clog. This seems to be the case with about 5 different MC products I have purchased, even when I have just removed the seal. I havnt seen anyone else complain about this, so I wonder if it's my retailer? I wont mentioned the name of the store , but they are the place with the helpful hardware folks. 🙂 Either way, it can get frustrating. Think it's the retailer? Or if this is common, will there be anti-binders added, or perhaps a desiccant added to each bottle to help prevent this? Oh, I should mention my climate control system is set to 45% humidity in the house.
You mentioned that your son liked Honey Hog on popcorn. Well, I accidentally bought a jar of UNSALTED peanuts the other day and they were blander than bland. So I thought, how about adding some honey hog to the jar and see if that helps? Well, I'll tell you, that and a little extra kosher salt did the trick. These peanuts are now my new favorite afternoon snack!
I think I’ve ordered all of your seasonings and love them all, but Holy Voodoo is still my fav and go to! Probably use that 4-1 of all of them. Have to say thank you too, Matt, for highlighting other craft sauces and marinades. I’ve recently purchased Bachan, “W” Sauce (both hot & regular) and Meat Mitch BBQ Sauce. Love all of them. I do the grilling and smoking at my house so thank you for all the great videos and tips! You’ve really helped me up my game!!
I didn’t know Voodoo was the number 1 seller, but it’s certainly been number 1 in our household! Although Blanco is right up there too! ❤
