Meringue Cookies Recipe



These beautiful meringue cookies are light as air, perfectly sweet, and so easy to make! Great with a cup or coffee and look wonderful on a cookie tray! Meringue cookies are such a delightful addition to the table and so easy to make! I love to flavor mine with a drop of good vanilla but almond and even peppermint are great choices too. Try dipping or drizzling with chocolate for an extra layer of flavor and remember, these make wonderful gifts!.

  1. @PreppyKitchen Can you use Splenda for baking to make these…. I tried this recipe and followed this video but mine didn't come out right (yes, I used Splenda for baking instead of sugar) but after the hour at 200f, mine leaked a clear yellowish gooey stuff and they were not hard. What did I do wrong and how can I make these sugar free. Please help.

  2. Help!! I tried to make the recipe but I usted peppermint essence and my meringue ruined. I lost all the consistency it had and it became liquid, I want to try it again but I'm afraid to ruin the recipe again due to the essence. I put 1 tsp, should I put less or not use it at all?

  3. I just made this recipe. I had a hard time getting the meringue in the piping bag. It didn’t want to go down in the bag and stuck to the sides of the bag. I had a big sticky mess. Any suggestions? I only had the smaller 12oz. Bags if that made a difference.
