Love the recipe, but I love the most when you say Bismillallah before eating food! Praise be to God 🙏🏽
This is Biryani right? Or just one pan chicken rice?
This is my go to recipe. I love it. ❤
As always say bismillah
Thank you Ahmad that was amazing, I just tried it today just without the rice as I already have a left over
Is the rice partially cooked or just washed
I left out the star anise, smoking the rice and the extra sauce, and my family still loved it. I'm making it again today by their request, thinking I'll add smoking the rice to see how it goes.
Why do you do the chicken grilling before adding the aromatics to the pan?
Tried this today along with ur fataoush salad. My god, it turned out so delicious, I'm still licking my fingers.😍😍😍
Do you crunch on the herbs ?? What happens to hard herbs at the base of the rice?
This was sooo good! I smoked the rice for 5 mins at the end—it made such a big impact on the final dish. 10/10 will definitely make again

Simple one pan cooking is my favorite
Ingredients:
1 lb Chicken legs
2 Tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp turmeric
1 tsp paprika
¼ tsp allspice
1 tsp salt
½ cracked black pepper
1 jalapeno, cut into thin strips
1 shallot, diced
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
1 star anise
2 cardamom pods
2 cups basmati rice, rinsed
1 ½ cups chicken stock
Optional: 1 Tbsp butter or ghee
Does anyone know how much of each spice to add?

Dude from apple jacks commercial 💀💀💀
We're not in a hurry, dude..
This is called biryani. Give the dish it's credit rather than making it look like you created the recipe. Don't be a thief.
Why tf ruin it with turmeric?
Love your content – pro tip, you can buy excellent smoked basmati rice. It is an ancient preservation technique. You’ll never buy regular basmati again!
سحاااوق
