Put oil in your pan let rise to really hot, dump your oil out and put new oil in and reheat cause that stainless is not nonstick. Or use a nonstick pan. I add a lil butter too once its hot and sear both sides about 90 secs on each side.
Me being a chef I cried at half the shit you did. Lol but not mad at it lol Never use that type pan unless it super hot and use white pepper for seafood and fish.
You must find them fresh in the shell. Shuck em and pan fry in butter and grapeseed oil. Don’t crowd the pan ! Sear for a minute or two , flip and sear other side for a minute. Galic infused butter and squeeze of fresh lemon juice and enjoy .
Looks really good for your first try I cook a lot of scallops at work id say use just a little more oil and wait until the second before the oil is about to start smoking then drop them in the pan and move them right ways to make sure they are not sticking. Also if they do get stuck take a spoon and flip it upside down it will get them off and keep the sear
god u suck at cooking lmao

The pan has to be 400 degrees for it to not stuck to the pan.
is that mark robers clone?
I've never had one now I've gotta try it
Scallops are one of the greatest things in the world, I swear
my grandma would wrap these in bacon🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 so fucking good
My man diddnt take the side muscle off 😬
I like them with a good romesco sauce topped with a fresh herb salad.
Those aren’t real scallops. They’re fish cut to look like it
Not enough oil heat too high and next time I suggest you actually do finish with butter anyway nice video 👍
Take some Vinho Verde and deglaze the pan. Slowly add tabs of cold butter till thick add some citrus zest. Magnafique I guarantee.
