Ingredients

Pasta(dried, farfelle) – 1cup
Butter – 1½tbsp
Flour(maida) – 1½tbsp
Garlic Clove(sliced) – 1no
Milk(room temp) – 300ml/ 1⅓cup
Salt – to taste
Oil – 2tbsp
Cheese (grated) – ½ cup
Italian Seasoning – a generous pinch
Pepper Powder – a pinch
Basil sprig – for garnish

  1. Stop adding Oil to boiling water in a myth that it will prevent the noodles or pasta to form clumps. If you are cooking your spaghetti/noodles/rice noodles/pasta Al Dente, then you don't need to add oil while boiling. When you take your pasta out, the air will dry the moisture content in pasta, and then it will form into clumps. Adding a drizzle of Olive Oil or any light cooking oil, after taking your pasta out of water, will create a barrier and ensure no moisture loss from Pasta. Also, this practice will preserve pasta if you choose to use it later.
