If they are frozen when cooking then there's no way you can put a dimple in the middle unless you do that before freezing them.
Contamination on top of already cooked part, by retouching finger onto already cooked part with raw/blood finger! Yuck.
How come fresh burgers that come from the butcher don’t do this?
I’m ridiculously happy that I discovered this channel 😊❤
Or just… smash them?
The left one looks much better
I use the tip of my little finger to poke a hole in the middle. Cooks fast and evenly every time.
Smashburgers forever ♾️
Yea I try my best not to over mix and do the dimple but it really doesn't seem to do too much sadly. I bet if I ground my own meat it would do it better.
Also a weighted press helps as well. If you press a lot, you end up with a smash burger but if you just press light, the end result will be even browning and flat burger.
Unless you grind your own and keep it loose, according to a different ATK video.
I learned this from Rachel Ray back in the 30 Minute Meals days
I tried this and ended up with cooked burgers with a dimple.
I don't do this, and I never had that problem.
I do this to stop global warming. It's working!
Alternatively, don’t make burgers that are 8 feet thick
HI
You need to mix your burgers alot more maybe add something as well like onions or even salt and pepper?.
