I purchased a Hub II grill and there is a problem with the rotisserie. It pauses about 2 seconds in the same location on every rotation and then continues. This might not sound like much of an issue but it causes whatever I am cooking to overcook or burn in the area that faces the fire when it pauses. I contacted Everdure via email and they responded via email and promised to repair it. Six months have passed and they have not sent a tech to repair it. They stopped responding to my emails. Don't bother calling the customer service number. They don't answer and never return a call.
Great great review.. I see some bad comments .. I understand.. but if they only understand what this is mean for and who .. if u have alot of grills .. u will understand and appreciate this.. this is a fast cook .. but takes alittle long to heat up .. that fine.. im a person that has a portable smoker and I bring my battery pack with me it runs it for 18hours straight at the water front or beaches.. people gravitate towards me and wirh this by my side .. I will be un stop able . Both of them on .. yes .. slow cook and a fast one .. work smarter not harder .. u did great 👍🏾
No lid only starts half the grill
For
£1000 I would rather add £600 for a smoker
So a rotisserie and direct heat cooker with an electric start and a stupid expensive price tag. You’ve got to be a real numb nuts to buy this. Plus no way to adjust the grate height. This looks like it came right out of a Sharper Image store
Great video! I enjoyed it.
Did you just spit on that rosemary? Lol
Meh… plenty of alternatives with better features and a much cheaper price.
This looks really interesting but I just got the Nuke Delta. I think this Everdure needs a hood option.
The weber GA with rotisserie can do the same job for quarter of the price.. what a limited overpriced piece of kit.. i could imagine yuppies with too much much money and no bbq skills to be your target market
No, thanks! That's not nearly worth €900…
So can you please tell me what are the differences between this grill vs other way cheaper charcoal grills out there
This contraption is made for girls and sissy’s
Anyone that pays 2k for this needs to have their head examined!
Overpriced crap
Don’t burn rosemary guys! It’s full of “resine” (Italian word sorry) that are toxic when they burn
Looks pretty useless.
Could you use the barbecue without the stand? Thinking more of a portable bbq.
None of these were cooked the same, and the temp was not consistent across even the individual cuts much less between all three. It took 20 minutes to get a small amount of coal to which you then had to add dead ones leaving cool spots. This is longer than for my kettle grill for less consistent results. This may be good for rotisserie, but I don’t understand how you went through this experience, edited this video, and then came up with a conclusion that this is acceptable for a $1K USD product.
No airflow control!? Just a 1960s stove element in the base? No thanks, I'll stick to my kamado.
A very expensive, cheaply made grill with extremely limited options. No heat control, coals too close to food.
You're going to loss so much heat on the rotisserie because it hasn't got a lid
Over priced piece of shite
Weber kettle can do all of this and more. Like smoking.
I've had my eye on the fusion, but that heat is to close to the grills. Doesn't give you options like a Kamado or even a weber kettle, for cooking.
So with no lid or upper and lower vents, how is temperature controlled? Also with the hot zone/cool zone, a lid keeps in your heat still cooking over the cool zone. I’m a little skeptical about the design and using charcoal with no lid.
ACTUALLY!
Looks like a bear to clean and too yuppy for me
Thanks for the review. Finding honest reviews like this is hard to come by.
I will stick to my XL Big Green Egg. I don't really need a rotisserie that bad and make great food already. Doesn't look all that heavy duty. Rather have a Napoleon or Weber Grill over this.
