I switched to glass containers years ago. I became so frustrated with spaghetti sauce staining the plastic. This was informative, thanks
The issue with these tests is they do not address the biggest issue most people have with their food storage containers: longevity. Most container lid sealing systems break down over time after repeated cycles in the dishwasher. Opening and closing the container lid 100x doesn't remotely address that problem. Follow more of a Container Reports style lab test and run them through the dishwasher (with detergent) on a normal cycle 100 times in between 100 uses, and then report back.
I'm not sure if this was sponsored or not, but I really appreciate methodical tests like opening/closing the lids 100 times. That's the sort of information I love to see stats on 😍
The only reason we don't own glass is that we have had storage containers fall out of the fridge. Glass shatters but plastic doesn't.
I agree. The Rubbermaid brand are great.
Just beware of cooking temps when baking cakes etc it is recommended to lower temp 25 degrees
Would also be nice to know about how well they stack when stowed away. Ideally they can stack within each other efficiently so they don't take much space when not in use.
As clumsy as I am, glass containers will not work for me

Expensive, but worth it.
Thank you! Just what we've been looking for 😅
