  1. Awesome road trip for some good old school bbq joints. I still love me some old school Q. Sometimes I need a break from the crafty stuff. Kreuz, Smitty's, and City Market are some good picks. I like Coopers but it depends on the location. Ya'll made us all wish we were on the trip too.

  2. Kruez Market was the place that made me fall in love wtih sausage. It was always my least favorite barbecue meat/cut. They were sold out of everything but sausage and beef shoulder. Beef shoulder was better than any brisket I'd ever had and the sausage made me tear up.

    One thing that might be cool for yours and Bradley’s next road trip is to take a tour of the Texas pit makers / fabricators. Especially with Bradley’s eye for design. I’m thinking Mill Scale in Lockhart, Moberg in Dripping Springs, etc… 😉
