  1. I grew up making a recipe very similar to this except we used a 12-ounce bottle of Heinz Chili Sauce, 4 Tablespoons of Golden Sorghum Molasses, and Grape Jelly. I suspect that it may be regional variations. I grew up in the Mississippi River Valley region.

  2. You’re right, every party and this was on the table. Sometimes used meatballs. Another option is to use jellied cranberry sauce instead of the grape jelly and chili sauce for the BBQ sauce. We used grape jelly and chili sauce. It’s a tangier taste for those who aren’t into sweet things. I think this was around in the 60s when I was a teenager.

  3. The original recipe was made with Kraft original barbecue sause and Kraft grape jelly. Kraft barbecue sauce is not the same as it was years ago. I haven't been able to find Kraft grape jelly in several years.
I have used seedless blackberry and it is good.

  4. Oh wow, BBQ and grape jelly with little smokies! That sounds wonderful. I will have to try that recipe. It sounds and looks wonderful. All of the varieties of little smokies, nowadays get so confusing. This is a great appetizer for all parties and potlucks.

  5. Hi Becky, I make this when we have get togethers as well. Thank you for your recipes all these years, but love how you share your faith and love for the Lord most of all. I know you've touched lives who may never have been witnessed before. What a blessing you are, thank you.

  6. I always enjoy watching your videos. You are an inspiration to everyone. Will you be coming out with a new cookbook any time soon? I have been enjoying the first one very much! May the good Lord bless and keep you!
