Surely it's three products not three ingredients. The bun probably has 15 ingredients in it and the BBQ sauce again similar amount of ingredients. It's like me saying two ingredient chicken curry by cooking chicken and adding a jar of curry sauce.

Like I understand you’re saucing the chicken but when you bite into the chicken the meat itself won’t taste like anything after you get the sauce out of the way.
Next time opt for a little salt, pepper, garlic, onion and a small sprinkle of brown sugar. Then sauté and toss in sauce
