One Pot Garlic Mushroom Pasta:
Pasta (fusilli) – 260g
Olive Oil – 3 tbsp
Garlic (sliced) – 6 cloves
Mushroom (halved) – 400g
Oregano – ½ tbsp
Red Chilli Flakes – ½ tbsp
Paprika – 1 tbsp
Salt – ½ tbsp
Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
Black Olives – ½ cup
Parsley (dried) – 1 tsp
Water – 2 ½ Cups
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a pan, add the sliced garlic and saute it for a few seconds.
2. Add the mushroom and saute it on a high flame.
3. Add the oregano, chilli flakes and mix them well
4. Add the pasta, mix it well. Add the water, give it a stir. Season it with salt and black pepper powder. Bring it to a boil, cover and let it cook till 90% of the water has evaporated.
5. Add the olives, mix it in. Garnish it with dried/chopped parsley.
6. Serve it hot.
Cooking Tips:
1. Parmesan cheese is optional and can be added in the end just before taking the pasta off the flame.
2. An extra quarter cup of water can be added if you like the pasta to be cooked a little over al dente.
3. Stir The pasta gently to avoid breaking it.
