Shakarpare
Ingredients :
1/2 cup or 100g Sugar
1/3 cup or 80ml Milk
1/3 cup or 80ml Ghee
250g All Purpose Flour
A Pinch Of Salt
Oil to Deep Fry
Method :
1. Add sugar and milk in a pan.
2. Dissolve sugar completely and add ghee. Mix well. Turn of flame and cool mixture completely.
3. Add a pinch of salt to all purpose flour and add the cooled sugar mixture. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
4. Allow the dough to rest for 10 mins.
5. Divide into 4 parts and roll out the dough as per desired thickness.
6. Cut and remove the sides of the rolled out dough to form a square or rectangle.
7. Now cut small squares.
8. Heat the oil well. Fry one and check.
9. Now add the small squares in small batches and fry on medium flame till light golden brown.
10. Allow it to cool. Once cool enjoy your crispy shakarpare with tea or enjoy it as a snack.
