Trying Keystone Ground Beef Canned Hamburger Meat Food Storage Prepper Pantry #prepping #recipe
Trying Keystone Ground Beef Canned Hamburger for the first time! I’ve had this canned meat in my Food Storage Prepper Pantry for 6 years and finally tried it. I love that this canned ground beef only has 2 ingredients (beef and salt), has no preservatives, is gluten free, made in the USA and best yet…fully cooked! Keystone meats have a 7 year shelf life (at least) and are perfect for prepping. The meat tasted great and I will definitely be buying more.
I’ve been able to find it at some Walmarts, on the Keystone Meat site, and also on Amazon:
Let us know where you’ve been able to find them please!
To those asking: I have bought Keystone Ground Beef at Walmart, but I've found that is very popular, sells out, and is sometimes hart to find in stores. Can also find it here: https://amzn.to/47vj5RZ
The price does fluctuate greatly online.
I tried this to see if it was something I would want to put in my food pantry. I only ate a bit of it to know it looks, tastes and smells just like canned wet dog food. And this was after cooking it.
Canned ground beef, canned chicken not good!
Why not eat fresh ground???
But I understand for emergency planning!
But again you can of course freeze hamburger, for quick meals.
Worst thing I ever tried, canned chicken breast meat, horrible!
Yummy 😋 that looks great . What time is dinner? 😊
I can't find it anywhere. I've looked.
Im an MRE reviewer…you are better off putting a couple cases of them in your pantry
lol, just ruined tasting the actual product by adding sauce 😂
Other than home canned, Keystones is the best!
It's actually really good for lazy man tacos just place in a warmed corn tortilla with cheese then pan fry to crisp
Hum, good idea ❤🎉
Keystone is SO underrated. Got good chicken too.
That would probably make excellent SOS!
For emergencies, eating it straight out of the can seems like desperate measures. Your kitchen says otherwise 😂
I love it and shredded pork and beef.
I'm turning you into the authorities for mixing the damn spaghetti noodles together with the sauce! That's a crime in 53 of the 50 states! Noodles on the plate with the sauce on the top! No expectations 😅
Yea that’s healthy 😂😂😂
Just drain it smh
I home can ground beef in the pressure canner from time to time and it ends up looking somewhat similarly, although I try not to have as much fat.
I wonder how they determine the shelf life.
Our new meat is gonna be like dog food. Oh boy capitalism clearly works.
Drain that fat!!!
That stuff is GOOD.
I opened my can and it smelled like roast beef😊
If the zombies don't get you; that stuff will 👀
If you have a pressure canner ground beef is any easy thing to can. I keep about 7 or 10 jars in my pantry.
in the UK, one can of Keystones is about £50 !!! …i think i'll 'roll my own' thankyou 🙂
It’s fine ✅
i'm scared to eat it. but that fear would dissolve in a real emergency situation. too bad science is not there to make it look and taste the same 20 years later as it does the day its cooked. they add too much weird stuff in this stuff that causes stomach pain and indigestion. freeze dried eggs are known to do this
No, there’s a lot better options for your emergency pantry than that nasty shit. What the fuck is wrong with you people
$46 a pound !!!.
It's an abomination
14OZ $16.99 AMZ … SH!T
10 CANS A MONTH, OVER $170, WAY OVER, MY FULL BUDGET FOR FOOD.
Raw ground beef cooks up just about as fast as it heats up already cooked. You really don’t save as much time as you think.
Keystone roast beef is amazing as well
Cook the broth down.
Wow mince in a can , never seen that before here in New Zealand , Its for sale here on line for $127,70 nzd for a Lb /12 oz can FFS ,our lb is 16 oz not 12 oz wheres the other 4 , well not buying that could get a leg of beef for that price
Since WW2 and up until the 70's, canned meats were very common in grocery stores. I remember the canned whole chickens very well.
During the 70's when the "health food" craze began, canned meats were still available, but many grocery stores stopped ordering them, since most people were buying fresh meats more than canned meats.
Eventually, most businesses stopped carring canned meats other than SPAM, tuna, and chicken.
Canned meats has come back up somewhat nowadays, but the cans are small and expensive.
Would be n8c3 for emergency stuff. But average $12 a can in bulk or $21 a pi3ce. Thats way to exp3nsive. Ill just go hunting 😆
The amount of times the brand of the name is used, this is obviously a paid ad. But I'm still interested. 😂
It doesn't taste THAT good for 10 dollars a can 🤷♀️
Glad I already ate lunch before I watched this video. That looks so disgusting. 😢
I think it tastes good and chili
