I noticed all brands have the same size and shape jar and lid. How is that for similarities. If you mix the capers and put in another jar, no one would know the difference.
Varying degrees of puckeriness
Lost me on the first line. Why would you put someone on who clearly hates capers?
i love chicken piccata but not the capers. i just tried cooking with Mediterranean organic in a cooking class. i really enjoyed them. capers are back on the menu. i think i liked them because they were small sized.
Lived in Italy for 3 years. A loaf of good bread, a jar of good capers and a cold beer. Dinner is served.
In nearly every taste test the organic version is always the least favorite
I always thought “non pareilles” meant seedless! 😂
Should one rinse these capers before use?
they are so flirty in the end card 🙂
i use capers on my smoked salmon or home made gravlax sandwiches…but what abt the salt cured ones? are they really that much better?
The ones imported from Italy in olive oil are the very best…..
At first glance, I thought there was some shenanigans going on at the supermarket
When I was a kid, all groceries carried capers. Now, no groceries that are not gourmet specialty shops carry capers. Nobody has whole nutmeg. Sad
I wish she would stop tasting and tasting while the other person is speaking. She does this in all of her videos. It’s distracting. Let her do all the tasting she wants BEFORE the video.
The Devil’s dingleberries. It’s like asking, “What form of skin rash would you prefer all over your body?”
I wish you would include Trader Joe's items in your testing as most people I know buy a lot of products from them.
When I was young I thought capers were little sea creatures
In the recipes thst require a caper-type component, can you substitute pickles instead? I personally can't stand capers…
I can only eat the capers in water & salt. Any chemicals or preservatives I’m allergic to.☺️
Who buys such little jars of capers.,.
I have to buy mine at a restraunt supply!👍👍👍
Reese and Crosse and Blackwell are two great companies so I would automatically choose one of those two.
Hi, you picked my choice, next CROSS &BLACKWELL, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I hate it when the capers are mushy.
We buy the salted capers from our local Italian market. It comes in a bucket. Love them. I'd avoid the brined ones if possible.
Impressive how she knows the price and exact name of each one in case it wins, having to blind-test them.
I must say that years ago I tried salt packed capers and since then deplore the the brined capers. After a short soak to pull out the salt, the texture is always better and the taste is genuine caper and not some pickle brine.
Capers 😋😋
Best Capers, Good Hope, Cod, Horn, Canaveral.
Per these comments;
capers in tuna salad sounds good!
This comment section has me in stitches!
Supermarket Capers: Putting something in someone else’s cart when they aren’t looking so when they get home they wonder why they bought that item!😆
I was looking for capers in a supermarket. I couldn’t find any, so I asked for help. He said “follow me”. No capers. Then he said “There were at least a dozen jars here this morning.” I replayed “Maybe someone stole them. Perhaps we could call this the Great Caper Caper…”
Bridget is one sexy mama!
I can’t eat capers since Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
Opies Capers in spirit vinegar . Superb and nothing else will do .
Never have I ever, had a caper. Time to up my game I suppose.
Yum! My wife puts capers in tuna, egg, and potato salads. Can't go wrong with capers on a bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese.
