  1. Midwestern here… just made 50 zucchini muffins 😅 I always use the "swaps" you made but I know others don't. I did do maple syrup in this batch instead of honey. I've used both. Added cinnimon, of course. ❤️ Love me some zucchini bread variations!

  2. Looks delicious. I don’t squeeze the liquid out of the zucchini because in my experience it helps keep the bread moist, add spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Take out the poppyseeds and add a pint of blueberries. Keep the lemon in and you have a twist on your twist of an old zucchini bread recipe.

  3. I wish y'all wouldn't call this kind of stuff "healthy"—health is a practice, not something that food can be. For example, honey is just sugar made by bees. It'll cause diabetes just the same if you're at risk of it.

  4. I use to make zucchini bread and pumpkin bread in the early 80’s! It was the first thing I ever baked or cooked alone. We were transplants from Atlanta to Wichita. ❤ I was undergoing chemotherapy and I made it for my Doctors office.
I too have switched the recipe around a bit, as you have, much more healthy ingredient choices😊❤I love making it at the end of summer and early fall.

  5. I have GOT to try this!!! I'm a HUGE FAN of these types of loaf breads, and especially Banana Bread. It took me forever to find the perfect ingredients that balance each other out with an emphasis on the main flavor, such as the banana in Banana Bread. I've been searching for a really great Poppyseed bread, a Zucchini bread, and a Lemon cream cheese bread. So this bread is a "I MUST try this one out!!!" bread.
    I can't wait to try this. YUM!!! 🤤 🤤

  6. Using whole wheat flour isn't new. The body still uses honey as sugar, you're just changing the flavor with honey. Also people need to know there's poppy seeds in it, especially if they can be spot checked for drugs at work
